Writing & Research Center
"To begin any writing task well, we have to think about what it's asking
for and anticipate its demands and opportunities." Deborah Core (The
Seminary Student Writes, p. 10)
The Lutheran Theological Seminary at
Gettysburg provides a Writing & Research Center (Wentz Library room 303) for students
to obtain help with the process of academic writing. It is open
and available to all students for feedback at any stage of the writing
process from brainstorming to the final draft. There are also
resources available for help in correctly documenting research papers.
The current Writing & Research Center
specialists are Dr.
Karin Bohleke
kbohleke@Ltsg.edu and Dr. Zoë Stavri
zstavri@Ltsg.edu
.
Both specialists are familiar with scholarly
writing expectations. Visit the Writing Center during office
hours, or contact one of the
specialists to make an appointment. The campus
extension for calling the Writing & Research Center is ext. 2153.
